Kids Kottage Stuffy Drive for Child & Youth Mental Health Day

Kids Kottage provides 24 hour crisis shelter and care for children in times of crisis. Each child is given a choice of their own new stuffed animal when they arrive, but supply has dropped critically low. The stuffed animals are used as stabilization tools to help children self-soothe during crisis transitions.

Timing: Although the need is year round, for awareness we will align an initial campaign with National Child & Youth Mental Health Day on May 7, 2026. The entire donation collection period will run from May 4th to May 10th)

The Ask to the Public:

  1. Drop off a new stuffed animal at a drop location (addresses provided below)

  2. Donate $10 or more online thru the page https://kidskottage.org/get-involved/stuffy-drive/

Drop Zones: We have asked some businesses to act as drop zones for the full week surrounding May 7. Kids Kottage will supply the drop boxes and all assets for the campaign closer to May 4 to these business locations.
