The Caregiver Conference aims to equip caregivers with practical tools, resources, and strategies to prevent burnout while fostering meaningful connections, shared learning, and stronger support networks within the community. It will also empower and support caregivers by fostering collaboration among caregivers, community leaders, service providers, and employers.

On Halloween night, you watch Hocus Pocus. Horizon Drive-In puts the Sanderson sisters on the big screen at the Valley Zoo on October 31, with Bette Midler, Sarah Jessica Parker and Kathy Najimy as three witches getting reacquainted with Salem, a talking cat, and one very unlucky virgin who lit a candle.
Come straight from trick-or-treating in costume. Part of every ticket goes to the Valley Zoo Development Society for conservation, education and animal care at the zoo.

Halloween Night: Featuring Mourning Woods at The Mill
The Mill Craft Bar + Kitchen is spending Halloween night with live music from Mourning Wood, who will play for most of the evening.
There’s a costume contest too, so put real effort into the costume. Details and prizes will be announced closer to the date.
Entry is $10, which covers the band, a dance floor, and a costume-filled room on the south side.

When a curse threatens her island, Moana sets sail across the ocean to find the demigod Maui and set things right. Disney's 2016 animated adventure features Dwayne Johnson as Maui and songs from Lin-Manuel Miranda. It's the early show, so it's an easy pick for families. Spooky Strathma returns this October and this year we’re going medieval. Each year, we transform the museum with a new theme, displays and activities. Wander through a medieval village, try the museum-wide quest and visit a special exhibit about Sherwood Park’s own Medieval Days celebrations.
