Inclusive Child Care

Supporting Children of All Abilities

IS YOUR SPACE AND SUPPORT STAFF TRULY INCLUSIVE?

Community Support Services

Early Development Instrument (EDI) data indicated that more than 1 in 5 (over 20%) of kindergarten-aged children had a diagnosed mild/moderate disability or developmental delay. Children who are experiencing, or at risk of, developmental delay or disability require support beyond that required by children in general.

This developmental delay or disability may be present in one or more of the following critical areas physical, cognitive, behavioural etc. Whether a child is at risk due to neurobiological factors (such as genetic, metabolic, or other biological factors) or social/environmental factors, our goal is the same: to create a welcoming and effective learning environment.

Let us help you make sure your space and staff can serve every ability. We equip daycare professionals, educators, and community staff with the practical skills to detect, understand, and provide a safe, affirming space for autistic and special needs children. Helping educators and support staff deepen their understanding of neurodiversity, with a primary focus on:

  • Fostering an inclusive and supportive classroom or day program environment.

  • Gaining valuable insights into understanding behavior.

  • Learning concrete strategies that support positive outcomes for all children, particularly those with special needs.
